Vierdaagse

The Vierdaagse is a festival that takes place across 50+ stages throughout the parks and streets of the city. There's music, food, and the occasional fairground ride. It's a great way to experience the best (and worst) of Dutch culture ;)

The festival is also a walking event that takes place from Tuesday 15th-18th July, where you can walk 40km each day in the local countryside. We've never done the walking part, but you're welcome to stay on after the wedding and try! For the walking event, you need to buy a ticket in advance.
